Timesharing is the art of combining the benefits of Holiday Home Ownership and Luxury rented accommodation for a small initial capital investment. You only pay for the time you use.

Each owner has their own time period (typically one week) in which they can utilize the facilities, amenities, accommodations and all attributes associated with the resort.

As with any other piece of real estate the owner may use his or her week, rent his or her week, give it away, leave it to his or her heirs or exchange his or her week into thousands of other timeshare resorts worldwide.

You have a choice of two types of timeshare weeks depending on your preference and your lifestyle.

Flexi week: Your time period is defined by a season and your week period is not fixed. You reserve your time period within the appropriate season annually. Most resorts have a High, Medium, and Low Season. Floating Week: The purchaser of a floating week has the flexibility of scheduling their vacation interval with yearly variations in accordance with the resort's guidelines. Typically, resorts will accept requests for specific weeks by the interval owner as soon as the annual maintenance fees are paid.

Fixed week: Where you own rights to a specific week, often in a specific unit/house. This is your "home resort" , which you can either return to every year (same week every year) or trade through an exchange system for something similar in another part of the world, though not necessarily in the same week that you own. The advantage to fixed week ownership is the assurance that your specific timeshare unit will be waiting for you faithfully at the same time each year.
